Hailing from the ‘birthplace of Hip-Hop’, NYC’s the Bronx, Mickey Factz definitely started out in the right place. After ghostwriting for several artists, from the already prolific to the up-and-coming new blood, and releasing acclaimed mixtapes, he’s built a great buzz. He’s worked with established names a-plenty, including long-time Trapstar family the Cool Kids. Hailed by many, including XXL Magazine, as one of the front runners in the future of good hip-hop.

Probably North London’s finest trio right now, Man Like Me have built a very solid following with their light-hearted approach to making what happens to be actually quite clever music. After making “Oh My Gosh” a couple years back and capturing everyone’s attention with the bleep-filled hit,  the new self titled album is out right now, and features the recent smash “London Town”, which carries a real back-in-the-day ravey feel.

After being a mainstay on the UK scene for a good few years, it was finally time for Sincere to take centre-stage with the infectious “Good Girls Love Rudeboys” with KidBass, which had its fair share of love when it was still a street single – leading to a second video being made for the song. Sin’s definitely proof of putting in the work and making real progress, and we’re guaranteed to be treated to a good show.

This five-piece band, originating from Birmingham (a town very familiar to the Trapstar movement, following numerous invasions and parties), came very close to winning the Orange UnsignedAct show on Channel 4. With a very energetic, upbeat sound, the Harlots will be a brilliant addition to a live show and amongst all the other acts, the pure energy a young rock bandbrings is gonna make you sweat.

A young New York rapper who’s hovering off the radars of the mainstream scene with his own take on this fresh new resurgence of stylish hip-hop with a few well received mix-tapes and basically, one look at his MySpace bio should be enough to convince you, with co-signs by the stellar Pharrell Williams. Definitely one to look out for, for those of you unfamiliar.

The young Londoner is definitely doing enough to stand up in his own right. With the user-friendly street single “Raybans”, Kase definitely got himself some of his own shine. He followed it up with the more road-rap influenced next video, which got a better response and showed his diversity. Now currently pushing his latest EP, which you need to check out, Kase is on a one-man mission to capture the sound-waves.

A relatively new name, Dotstar has very recently put himself on the UK map in a big way with his funky smash, Stick Up. Already on quite a few people’s lips, that song is gonna bring the raves to a halt (in a good way, obviously) no matter what. Keep your eyes out for more from this dude, we’re glad to have an up and comer with his buzz involved.

This 20 year MC hailing from West London is currently signed to Urban Kaoz and is working on a number of projects at the moment. With careful planning and collaborations from overseas he is pushing himself out to the public as a popular and well respected artist. Another up and comer we’re glad to be backing, and with the confidence and growing buzz he possesses, he wont disappoint when it comes to the shows.

Part of Anti Social and the Deep Medi Music label (basically if you’re new to the concept, Mala heads that label…and well…you’d want to be affiliated to Mala), he’s definitely built a more than reputable name for himself with tunes like “Skys The Limit” and “The Horizon”. In many people’s opinion, his style of production is a very welcome escape to the more “jump up” bait club stuff that people are becoming familiarised with and build their opinions of dubstep from.

O-Dessa is a 21 year old producer hailing from Eastbourne via London. When not busy co-running the Kyrptic Elements radio show on Sub FM alongside DJ Syte every Friday (6 till 8pm), Dessa is heads down making some of the deepest dubstep vibes around. He’s recently just had his first 12″ release “Deeper / Million Dollars” on the Lo Dubs label.

One of the pioneering DJ's of Dubstep, 23 years young Chefal aka Chef, hailing from the home of Dubstep, Croydon, South London has been mixing for 13 years. Chefal is a resident at the two pioneering Dubstep nights in London DMZ and FWD and one of Bristols top Nights Hench which has now moved to a monthly at The Tube.

Also known as IronSoul when he produces some of the better grime beats out there; Kromestar is a prolific dubstep producer from South London who has seen success with releases on the Deep Medi label. For those unfamiliar, this is another heavy-hitter we’ve got onboard and definitely galvanizes our line-up as one of the best you’re going to see on any major event. His album ‘My Sound’ is definitely one of the best dubstep releases in recent times is definitely worth pursuing for a listen!
